What is the option transport statement for in my search profiles?

For each client that receives bid match data via e-mail (i.e. the Output Type field found in the Bid Match Options area of a client record is set to "E-mail"), an option transport statement appears at the beginning or end of their profile. This statement indicates the e-mail address(es) that OutreachSystems will send the bid match output or notifications to and is directly populated by the e-mail address(es) entered into the E-mail field that is also found in the Bid Match Options area of a client record.

If bid match data is going to an Internet e-mail address, the option transport statement will be formatted as follows:

option transport=email emailaddress@domain

Multiple addresses are separated with commas (no spaces). E-mail addresses cannot contain a space or be separated with a semicolon, and Web site URLs cannot be used.

By default, the bid match e-mail will be formatted as an HTML e-mail. However, if you prefer plain text, then an additional option statement will follow the option transport statement, as shown next:

option transport=email emailaddress@domain
option nohtml

If your client’s bid matches are being posted to OutreachSystems' mybidmatch.com site, you'll see this additional option statement following the option transport statement:

option transport=email emailaddress@domain
option webmail
