Zip Code Mapping

In July of 2002, Softshare introduced a great new WinCATS feature called ZIP Code Mapping. This feature lets you associate ZIP Codes with corresponding location information such as city, state, and county in WinCATS’ global configuration settings.

Once configured, simply enter a ZIP code into the Clients/Contacts, Centers, Counselors, or Conferences form and WinCATS automatically fills in any associated location information for you.

If you have a list of ZIP Codes and associated location information in a computer-readable format such as a comma-delimited text file or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, then Softshare can import that list into the WinCATS global configuration settings for you so that you do not need to retype it manually. This service is provided free of charge as long as you can deliver the raw data to Softshare in an appropriate format.
