WinCATS Standard is Being Discontinued

As first announced in the November 2005 issue of Softshare Times, Softshare is phasing out WinCATS Standard. If you're one of the few programs still running WinCATS Standard, it's important to note that this application will not receive any more updates; it is frozen at build 110. If your program requires any of the new features introduced since then, such as EDMIS export capabilities or the HUBZone Certification Date field to name a few, you will have to convert to Softshare 'CATS, our client/server solution.

Please know that Softshare does not take the decision to discontinue software lightly. We understand the impact it has on your operations. But with the vast majority of our centers now using Softshare 'CATS, the cost of maintaining parallel development between Softshare 'CATS and WinCATS Standard could no longer be justified and we made the decision to dedicate all our resources to enhancing Softshare 'CATS.
