STAC (Softshare Technical Advisory Committee) Update

They're at it again! After working to get client attachments and automated duplicate checking into build 418, the STAC has now set their sights on the next release of WebCATS. And what's at the top of the list? Management reports.

Several ideas are on the table for how to improve the reports and the report generation process for everyone. These ideas include:

• The ability to report on data by region, not just by center
• Thumbnail views of reports so that you can see what a report looks like before generating it
• Custom reporting module so that you can write your own reports
• The ability for users to create a personal top 10 list of reports for easier report selection

Softshare's looking into how to implement these great ideas and you will likely see new features that address several, if not all of them, in the next build.
