It’s the end of an era. In January, Softshare will generate its very last set of SMART Reports for the fourth (and last) quarter of fiscal year 2007. After that, centers will have to run their own FPDS awards reports to determine which vendors in their states won government contract awards.
Luckily, the FPDS award report process is a lot easier for centers than it ever was for Softshare. It typically took us a week to get our hands on the award data, process it, and then generate the SMART reports. It’ll only take you a couple of minutes to log onto the FPDS Web site and generate your very own real-time custom report.
