Your wish has been grant-ed! Last month, Softshare began monitoring the FedGrants database. This database compiles funding opportunities from a wide variety of federal agencies including HUD, NASA, and USDA to name just a few.
If you have clients who are interested in receiving federal grant opportunities, make sure their profiles include Softshare’s Small database by verifying that the profiles either reference sec:small in the database section restrictions or have no database section restrictions. In addition, Softshare is posting all grant opportunities under the FSG category A (research and development).
If you have a client that would like to see all posted grant opportunities, regardless of keywords, add the search statement select age:fedgrants to the profile. You can also perform an agency search on the keyword “fedgrants” at Softshare iSearch if you are curious to see what types of grants are being published (make sure you have either “All” or “Other Federal Purchases” selected in the Database field.
