Good question! Your DLA- and SBA-mandated reports are complicated. To generate the DLA 1806 report, Softshare 'CATS compiles data from seven different record types; the SBA Quarterly Case report requires data from four different record types.
The better your understanding of how data is compiled for the various reports required by your funding agency, the better you can maintain the integrity of your database. For this reason, Softshare has created four online help files that are devoted to explaining, in detail, how WebCATS calculates each worksheet. Line item by line item, these help files outline exactly which records (and which criterion in those records) contribute to the worksheet's numbers.
These help files, listed below, are accessible from any generated worksheet (in WinCATS or WebCATS) or from the WebCATS Online Help file.
