Faxed Bid Matches Will Be Discontinued

The time has come to say farewell to faxed bid matches. Beginning December 31, 2005, new versions of WinCATS will no longer support WinFax Pro. In addition, between now and then, Softshare is freezing its support of WinFax Pro at version 10.0.

For those of you who still fax (or print) bid opportunities for clients, this might be a good opportunity for you to streamline your bid match operations. It's a little-known fact that you can run all your bid match operations from WebCATS—no Bid Match utilities or Softshare Vista required!

If you're willing to e-mail all bid opportunities to clients (no faxing or mailing) and you're willing to perform all bid-match-related edits in WebCATS only, your bid match program will be much more manageable. No more worries about Vista auto-updates or nightly bid match procedures.
