Bid Match Statistics Report

If you’re a Bid Match program user, you’re probably very familiar with Softshare’s daily bid match statistics report. It comes in an e-mail titled “Softshare Search Log <current date>” and it breaks down the bid match opportunities that Softshare sent to your bid match clients in a variety of ways.

Recently, Softshare accidentally discontinued this report and, surprisingly, only a few of you complained about its absence. This leads us to believe that most of you do not find this report useful. So Softshare is thinking about discontinuing it permanently and providing something in its place. But that “something” is still to be determined, based on your feedback.

If you could take a moment to e-mail us what type of bid match statistics would be most helpful to you, it would be much appreciated. Specifically, tell us whether you use the bid match statistics report and, if so, what it is that you like about the report. Or, if you don’t use the report, why not? And what statistics would you rather see that the report doesn’t provide?

Note: WebCATS currently provides a quick way to see if a client received any bid matches for a particular day or period of time. By clicking the This month’s Bid Match total field (found in the client record), you can see the number of bid matches, per day, that a client has received over a three-month period.
